Some nice fog drifted through in front of Middle Cathedral Rock in Yosemite, along with some back-lit oaks with new brilliant leaves.

Sweet Harley. Love the vertical presentation and the clearing fog. Very uplifting. I might burn the bright logs on the bottom of the frame, but sweet indeed.

This is lovely, with just enough fog to contrast with those tall, granite walls, a great juxtaposition of elements. The new green leaves add a nice splash of color (lucky you didn't get any of the red, dying pines). I am undecided if you need as much height on the cliffs, but they are so impressive I'd probably leave them in.

A beautiful scene indeed, Harley. I love the fog in the scene. It would probably look nice if it wasn't there, but I believe it really makes the scene. The vertical format really works for this scene too.

That's really special, Harley. The fog adds a whole new dimension to this image.

Very nice moody image. The fog and the light make the image for me. Well composed also.

Harley, I sure do enjoy looking at this image. The fog adds such a wonderful touch and feel to this. The vertical format with the rising fog against the cliff works so well. The pines and oaks make a perfect base for this scene and the light is wonderful.

Man, this is just gorgeous. I like the way the fog helps us appreciate the depth and height of this scene. The vertical composition conveys the immensity of the wall. Can't think of any way to improve on this.

Another outstanding and unique Yosemite image from the foggy conditions you experienced, Harley. Just terrific.

Wonderful combination of elements Harley. I especially like the emerging rock face.

Love this Harley. Gorgeous and special light here. The highlight on the cliff wall looks like a waterfall... and very well could be given the amount of runoff this year.
Only minor thought would be, since 2/3 of the image is the mist/fog and light on the wall, I'd be tempted to crop off the river bank at the bottom. And perhaps even address the bright logs as well (not sure I would crop that high though.) Just a thought.
The magic of Yosemite changes moment to moment.

This is flat out gorgeous, Harley. The wispy fog has created some wonderful atmospherics to compliment those backlit leaves. Great work.
