Ganoga Falls # 2

Nikon D 700
Nikon 17-35 @ 17 mm
f 20 @ 0.5 sec.
ISO 400
Ricketts Glen SP, PA

This view is from the top of the Falls Trail as it descends down through Ganoga Glen. Looking back I probably should have gotten a little lower and tried to get that one branch out of the top of the falls. I will have to give that a try next time I am there.

As always thanks for taking a look and letting me know your thoughts.

Beautiful capture of the Eastern woodland.  I would be tempted to clone out the dead branches where they are in front of the waterfall.

I'm liking the composition a lot, with the stairs converging to the back. The white water looks a little grey, and I might brighten it.

Beautiful Ed.  I love the glow of the trees and you always seem to get the SS just right for my taste.  The branches don't bother me at all.  The only thing I could suggest would be to clone the bright rock that is about 3/4 of the way up the frame and slightly off center right.  Very minor, great image.

Excellent image, Ed. I like the spring greens and the high water volume giving you all those lovely cascades, particularly in the foreground. The exposure on the main waterfall and the tree tops at the top looks right on on my monitor; I could see lightening the rest of the image just a bit.

Beautiful scene. I would probably try to clone out the branch coming in, but it might be an awful lot of work. It does tend to draw my attention. I love the rich green colors and lush forest.

It's like looking into a green wonderland. Like how you framed the falls with foliage. The only thing I would do is brighten the water a little. Well done.
