Cute critters seem to be popular for this WC theme, so I'll add this whitetail fawn to this week's collection. This bambi was actually standing in my neighbor's yard, but I was in my backyard when I shot it, so I think it qualifies for the WC. Deer are frequent visitors, and I got this one in the morning a couple years ago. D600, 80-400 f5.6 @ 400 and f6.3, 1/160, iso 800 (hh). Suggestions and other comments welcome.

Yeah, Bambi out there eating all of the shrubs and flowers. smiley   It's a great pose in a luscious green setting, Scott.  The touches of blue and brown in the distance add nicely.  The blue reflections off the leaves under the deer are a bit distracting, maybe a localized remove color layer or some judicious cloning...

Some backyard, Scott !  A most elegant image, made for me by the strong focal plane and those soothing greens.

Wonderful detail, and colors are rich, and to have him stop and just look right into the camera just made the shot, Scott!

Beautiful, Scott.  A classic Bambi image with gorgeous white spots and a wonderful head turn.  Excellent.

Wonderful pastoral scene.  The Whitetail fawn is classic and fits in really well with the greenery.  Nice colors.  The deer in my neighborhood are boring compared to this one.
