Most of the Great Egrets I see are standing still watching the water or just watching their surroundings, maybe listening for fish. Most of the Snowy Egrets I see are moving around in the water, fighting with other Snowy Egrets, etc. Hopefully one day I'll get a good image of a Snowy Egret fight. But this one was just standing on a log on one foot with no one else around. I like the way you can see his other foot through his feathers.
All feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
