Suspension Bridge (WC)

This scenic bridge is only 1/2 mi from my home. Built in 1895, it is the oldest bridge in Mill Creek Park, which is Ohio's first public park district. It is offically named The Suspension Bridge, but it goes by many names. We always just called it "The Silver Bridge" when I was a kid. I have dozens of images of this bridge, and I've posted a couple here, but I don't think I ever posted this particular image in which the bridge is framed by fog and black-eyed susans. Taken on a late summer morning in 2009. D700, 18-35 @ 24 and f16, 1.0 sec., iso 200, tripod. Suggestions and other comments welcome.

Scott, scene looks very quiet and peaceful.  Good DOF even through the fog!

I opened the thumb wondering if this was in Mill Creek Park, Scott.  It's a great looking bridge with it's silvery superstructure contrasts well with the surrounding greens.  The touch of fog adds a nice sense of mystery that fits well with the bridge's exotic shape.

What a charming and unique bridge. The fog and flowers add a lot to the charm and bring to mind something one might find in the English countryside. One can almost imagine a horse-drawn carriage going across. I like The Silver Bridge as a name better than The Suspension Bridge. Great image for the WC.

Love the framing; fog and vegetation, certainly focuses ones attention on the bridge, well done.
