Male Puma

During my May Patagonia tour, my group encountered numerous pumas (I counted 19 individuals). This was one of the better looking cats, a male that had been vying for the attention of a female in heat. She rejected him (opting for another male who was also in the area), so he left... and popped out right in front of us as he exited a canyon. Here, he's looking back at the female and the other male (behind us) as he walks away. Eventually this handsome lad settled down to rest quite close to us.

Gorgeous cat Max. Excellent color and detail. This is so simple and clean. The look is fantastic. He looks somewhat curious, but not at all worried.
