Tom: Great catch. The chairs make the shot for me. Makes me want to be in them, even if my feet are about to get wet! ><>

Very nice, Tom. Who wouldn't want to be in one of those chairs? The surf line really livens this up. Great sense of depth, especially with those clouds on the horizon.

Great colors and composition, the chairs really personalize the image.
Its 30 degrees here, I'm pretty envious.

Beautiful. I don't know how you managed to get those chairs there...was it PSCS!

Very cool. Now, where'd I put that Mai Tai?
Tom, this works so well on many levels. As has been said, the chairs personalize it. They also provide scale. The colors and blurring water provide an inviting mood. I also like the separation of the water and the chairs. I think it would have lost something if the water had "touched" the chairs.
Well done!

This rocks, Tom! Great looking sky, nice diagonal with the water and captured at just the right moment before the water touched the chairs.

That's a lovely mood indeed. Composition, light and timing are both very good. However, being extremely nitpicky I would say that I would have probably preferred just a slightly longer shutterspeed to make the water look just that tiny bit softer. It's a personal thing of course, but I think it would make the mood just a bit more peaceful. Other than that tiny nit, excellent work!

At first glance, this is a tranquil scene. To me the rushing water looks to be coming FAST--with a hint of danger there. I kind of wonder if I should run! It adds drama to the shot.

Love the contrast between the action of the water and the stasis of the chairs. Works extremely well for me. Beautiful colour overall too!.
Nice.
