That looks like a very difficult stack, John.  A beautiful composition and the black background is perfect for it.  I do see one tuft near the bottom that looks a bit out of focus, but it's a stunning image.  Very good work.

Very nice, John.  I need to spend some time learning how to stack images!

Very nice John.  The stacking produced a very clean, vibrant image.  Well done......................Jim

Keep 'em coming, John. This is great! I'm going to have to take a look again at CZM. The detail in those fine hairs is just crazy!

I have looked at the program some time ago, but as near as I can tell it only works as a stand alone program, and does not work with RAW images. I use Zerene as a plug in with Lightroom, which converts the RAW image to a tif file. I've configured Zerene to then convert the edited result and save the resulting hirez tif to a jpeg, then load it into Photoshop. Zerene also has a side by side editing feature which I love. I never looked to see how you would edit in CZM. I've still got the program, so I'm going to take another look.

Thanks all
Phil
I did use the previous version - combine ZP but it couldn,t handle my 24 mill pix off the D7100, so I moved on to CZM
Yes it is stand alone  but I never shoot raw  ( my files are too big for my gear as it is!!) so I am not sure what it can take. I,ll ask a round. I think the detail may also be to do with the lack of  pass filter / sensor on the \D7100.
Thanks
Cheers

Incredible detail of the fine hairs John. I really like the overall composition against that nice black BG. Nice stacking.
