This is a favorite menu item for many of the waders in Bayou Sauvage, also lots of the local population go there to net these tasty treats.  Maybe not the sharpest image but these youngsters tend to tolerate framing at close range without getting spooked.  Cropped from left to 4x5 aspect.

I like this, Bill.  A very nice portrait of the heron and the crawfish looks neat with the back light.

Nice timing and looks reasonably sharp to me.  Perhaps a little dark overall as posted?

Bill there seems to be a serious color shift here. The YCNH has a gray-brown look. I bumped the WB up a good bit, pushed the yellow green foliage back into the green and lowered its luminance. An easy quick fix, but this looks more like a juvie YCNH.

Appreciate the input guys.  David, this was in the shade, and even though I was a third-stop overexposed it appeared natural to me.  Phil's rework is a bit brighter.  In terms of sharpness, please understand that my 21" monitor is set to 1024 x 768 resolution, so I'm viewing more detail, or lack of it in this case, than others might be.  Phil, I normally don't depart from the naturally cooler colors of shady conditions, but your color balance on the bird looks pretty good.  Thanks again.
