I let the shadows go dark to make a nice frame around the stained glass window in this church in Northeast Harbor, ME.

The dark surround helps contrast the stained glass colours. Still, I think it might be even better if the stained glass were brighter.

Splendid capture! This is a very challenging kind of image to get all evenly in focus, and sharp. You seem to have succeeded. I think the black frame was a great choice.
