Brilliant Bouquet

This daylily appears like a goblet or vase holding the hot pink bouquet of gems (roses) in my garden.  I kept the colors hot to go with the bright yellow of the backlit daylily.  I gave the daylily a slight echo and HDR to extend and enhance the colors....they were so gorgeous and bright.  I could have toned the colors down, but as they look like brilliant, pink jewels, I chose this effect.  Hope you like it

I really like the light you put into this image, Lucy.  The echo effect doesn't appeal to me as much.

Lucy, I moved this to Photo Art. I think it is more suited to be in that Gallery than here in Flora. Beautiful work, BTW.

Thanks.  I almost put it in photo art, but I've seen lots of flower photos with liquid and other special effects in Flora.  I only used topaz prism to display the flowers 1 1/2 times, instead of one.  Only thing else was to use a slight hdr effect to the photo.  It's fine in photo artcool but maybe we can have some clearer guidelines set up.  I've even seen photos, where the entire scene is blurred to be an abstract of colors.  Whereas, this one is almost just like it came out of the camera...wink

I'm really glad you like it 😎
