I have been trying to get this image of this carriage road bridge on my last couple of trips to Acadia NP with not much luck. This time the lighting was just right and we had some rain to bring out the lush greens of the ferns and surrounding trees.

As always thanks for taking a look and leaving a comment or suggestion.

A lovely composition, Ed.  The bridge is wonderful and I love the foreground ferns.  I don't know what's on the sides, but I think a little more room above the bridge would be nice.

This is beautifully composed. I like the way the greenery on the side of the road nearest the viewer leads the eye into the picture, and this continues under the bridge with the greens on the other side. Love the ferns.

Love those FG filling ferns and how you used them to cover the unappealing water. The greens really pop.

Ed, That is one cool looking bridge and they probably don't build them like that anymore. The green ferns make a great looking foreground.

Looks to me like your "luck" changed.  I really like the composition of this.  The depth of the scene, the brilliance of the ferns, and the ancient-looking bridge give this a really interesting, almost medieval feel.  I like the trees standing guard on each side of the main arch.  There is just so much to enjoy in this one.  Kudos, for sure.
