I took this in the Community Garden at my hometown in Maryland.  Canon 5D Mark II, Canon 100mm L lens with KX-800 twin flash and DIY diffuser, handheld at 1/125, f15 ISO 250. 83% of frame.  Comments and suggestions are always welcome.

Hi Shirly,

The soft light makes this one a success. Well done and I like the highlight in the eye....................Jim

This is a great close up with excellent sharpness and detail.  Beautiful color and nice catch lights in the eyes.  Very nicely done!

A fine, tight look at this bumble bee, Shirley.  Being able to see the facets in it's eye in the larger view speaks to how much detail you've captured.  The setting, with the red flowers around it looks good also.
