One thing I enjoy when visiting the zoo is watching the pelicans at feeding time catching fish with their mouths.  I took this image last May.

Canon 60D, Canon 70-300, f/8, 1/2000, ISO400.

This is the image I've been trying to get for years with the wild, diving pelicans here.
You have the perfect perspective, fine detail, and a great look at the pelican eye and the fish. He even has the breeding-season "knob" on his beak that no one quite understands.
