Here's another shot from the last snowfall in CT on April 1 this year. It cools me off just looking at it in the heat of summer.

5d2, 24-105L @ 45mm
Blend of 2 exposures:
1/10s @ f/16, ISO100 for the snow
0.4s @ f/16, ISO100 for the water

I like everything about the water, the SS, the color and perfect highlights..
The BG does not live up to the water for me though....

The color and sense of movement in the water look good, Craig.  The snow also looks good on a bad air quality, might hit 100 summer day.  Your blending is seamless.  For me, your comp. (centered bolder and 50:50 horizon perfectly parallel) makes this too static for my taste, but that may have been your intention.

A nice last snowfall scene, Craig. It cools me off too looking at this. The water is my favorite part and I especially enjoy the feel of motion it has.

You win the award for the most refreshing post of the day!  sad  It's in the mid to upper 90's with high humidity in Nashville so this would feel great.

Beyond that I like the contrasting texture between the flowing stream and the snow.  One minor nit would be to place the rock off center in the frame.

Well this is cool,(pun intended), Craig.  I also like the flow of the water.  The image does have a very static feel, but it is very appealing none the less.

This sure does look refreshing after the heat we have had in MD the last several days, Craig. Great job on the blend and the sense of motion in the water is fantastic and has some wonderful lines. My only suggestion would be to move a rock a little off center, but this is still nice as is.
