Four blossoms

The cereus cactus over my back wall went off on Tuesday night.  I opens about a week after the first big monsoon rain each year.  All blooms happen on the same night and it's a one-night stand.  They fade with the first light and don't re-open again. This year was particularly good.  There were a total of 5 blossoms (most ever) and the wind was nonexistent, which aided photography.  Just starting to work this up.  The color looks good, but I think I prefer black and white.

An exquisite black and white..  the lighter to bright shades in each flower show depth.  And placement within the frame for all four showing off each is splendid.  I think a print at least 3 - 6 ft wide minimum length hanging over my couch is what I would want.   Well done. Ken S

Welcome Tony! I like the B/W conversion, but am looking forward to the colored version. The fact this only blooms at night lends some credence to the ghostly quality of this image.cool

"Exquisite" to quote Ken. Love the black and white. Maybe blooms a bit whiter (luminosity?) and small bit off right side?
