The same perch as the Nuthatch I posted a few days ago and the same session in the blind.  I liked the pose here.

7Dii, Sigma 150-600 C @ 600 mm, tripod with ballhead and Sidekick, f/8, 1/250, iso 1600, aperture priority, pattern metering, -1 EV.  Processed in LR & PS CC.  Cropped from a horizontal original to an 8.9 MP 4x5 vertical before resizing.

Your comments and critiques are greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Hi, Dennis. What beautiful detail in this, and what a wonderful pose. I might suggest moving the bird to the viewer's left a little bit.

Good one Dennis. So much like our Coal Tit
Love that bit of the twig hanging down. Takes the blandness off the perch.

Nice shot of this tiny little bird, Dennis!  I like how it's looking directly back at you. I think the vertical crop was a good idea, espcially considering the small size of the subject.

Definitely a very cute pose.  You got some great detail and color in this against the good background.
