Very Young Cubs

One of our reasons for extending our Tanzania trip to return to Kidepo Valley Uganda was to see if we could find "fresh" Lion cubs, We had seen the matings in February, so we calculated they should be around 6 weeks old.
As look would have it we found 2 with their crippled Mum on a quite photogenic kopje .
Their Mum has basically only 3 legs as a result of a childhood injury, but was still able to catch an adult Warthog and drag it up the steep slopes to their "cave"
These two are about 6 weeks old and were just starting to become adventurous.

Beautiful frame Ken!
I love the cubs against textured rocks. May prefer to boost some selective saturation on cubs.

Nice, unusual setting.  I agree with Jagdeep about possible post processing tweaks.
