I have been doing some high key images of my dogs.  This is Badger and at 7.5 months is an 83 pound package of pure canine energy.  I MacGuyvered a set which included an old white sheet draped over the railing of our deck, a handful of dog biscuits, and a camera setup for shooting handheld. I was able to get about 5 good shots out of 20 and I thought this one is special. I used a flash set at -1.33 ev and exposure set at -0.33 ev.  For editing, I selected the subject and refined the edge and saved the selection as a layer mask.  I then edited the BG to eliminate the wrinkles and bring up whites K5 IIs 18-32 mm set at 22 mm (1/250 sec. at f8.0, Iso 200)................................Jim

Looks good, Jim.  Badger looks both friendly and animated.  I've tried homemade back drops a few times an am always amazed at how strongly the wrinkles, folds, and textures show up.

Excellent work, Jim.  I like your tight crop and the detail in Badger's fur is wonderful.
