Beautiful tones and layers, plus all that fine detail to get lost in. This is skillfully done and the darker, mossy trunks really make it.

Excellent image, Prashant. I think Eliot Porter would have been happy to have made this. Me too.

Love the subtle colors and the transition to the strong twisted trunks here, Prashant.  A fine display of colors and textures.

Beautiful pastels in this Prashant. The nice green twisted tree trunks along the top band really give this a nice tapestry feel.

Beautiful image.  Love the understated colors and the wonderful title.  The large is astonishing in it's complexity and texture.  Really well done.

Scenes like this are hard to pull off due to the chaotic nature of the subject matter.  With that said, I think you have really pulled together the chaotic elements into a strong composition.  When I look at this I see layers of subtle color as well as the contrast between the ordered patterns in the shrubs in the bottom half of the image with the more contorted shapes of the trees in the upper half of the image.  This photo reminds me of this and a handful of other photos by Guy Tal.

While a lot (most in fact) photographers  shy away from chaos, I am glad to see that you have embraced it head on. There is an unmistakable sense of beauty in this rendition that I can really connect with.

Very well done, Prashant.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I was not sure how this will be received. I'm finding myself using longer focal lengths a lot more for intimate landscapes these days.
Scott - thanks for high praise.
Brian - Thanks for your words and link. Yes, I have learnt a lot from Guy.

I've enjoyed looking at this very much the last couple of days. I like the idea and how you composed it. It's a bit different on how these type of compositions are constructed. Here you have the bottom half with straight near vertical lines and the top half with twisted lines at all angles. The bottom half has a low to moderate amount of color and the top is richly saturated. This contrast between top and bottom works fairly well but I think greater continuity between the two halves would be better. Both in color and  design. The rich greens particularly overwhelm this composition. Just my opinion.

Congrats on the EP, Prashant! I enjoy the subtlety together with the complexity in your composition. You found a convincing way to show the interplay of these different elements to my eye.
