Green Heron ,... Stretching his wing and leg. The reflection is strong with early morning quietness.
Nikon D500, @240mm, F7.1, 1/500, ISO1400, -.67 meter compensation, Tripod mounted, early morning 7:43am

Comments appreciated.

Love the pose, angled perch and the reflection. A little more room on top if you have it. Wonderful capture.

Real nice pose, perch, and reflection here.  I can see why you cropped it this way because of the perch.  I think I'm okay with it.  I've always liked Green Herons  and wish there were more of them in my neck of the woods.

A wonderful pose, Bill.  While the reflection is neat, if you have the detail, I think it would also work very well without it.

Neat pose and good color and detail in the heron.  I agree this might work well cropped to remove the reflection.

Nice position for the heron - it looks like an ice skater in mid stride. I too would like this framed without the reflection as well.

Hello,... Great to get your comments and feedback. I too am wrestling with the image and reflection. I was setup for a visiting Kingfisher and surprised with this appearance. Always a treat to get these surprises.

Cheers

Love the pose here Bill, I would agree with cropping out the reflection and if you have it adding more room on the right. devil
