This is a new processing of an image I posted previously in the landscape gallery.  This is a combination of three exposures, each at F-22 but long exposures of 1 1/2, 3 1/2, and 5 seconds to achieve the appropriate textures in the water.  I've tried to make it as un HDR like as possible.  When I took this nine years ago, HDR was in. I think the light on the water is rather odd.

Iso 100, 17-35 at 17 mm, F-22, as above with respect to shutter speed, D2X, Topaz and TK actions

Beautifully done, David.  I don't know if the light is odd, but I do like it a lot.  Your long exposures really work.

The details in the larger version show very well, David.  I like the initial focus on the rocks and the fine reflections of sky and clouds in the water.  Your processing looks good as this is a very calm and inviting scene.

Interesting how the water and sky seem to recede and meet at a distant line.  I like the foreground rocks, the colors in the water, and the cloudy sky.

David, your image definitely does not have that HDR look that was so popular several years ago.  I like everything about the scene but especially the effect your processing had on the water which is both dreamy and luminescent.

Good techs and the light brings you in to the frame.

David this is really nice and smooth with very interesting light to give lots of detail throughout. Nice blending of the three long exposures. The rocks provide a nice anchor. The water and sky invite exploration.
