Throwing this one out there because I'm really very curious what people make of this photo. All comments welcome, just tell me what you see.

Ana, I see a wonderful nature abstract. Love the color and tonal changes and the opposing diagonals. Very creative!

Ana, I really like your composition and the overall idea in general. Can't say I would have been keen enough to see the uniqueness of the scene myself. I do like the placement of the waterfall edge in the URHC. The diagonals in the image work very well.
The only change for me would have been some softer light, especially on the water.

This has some interesting compositional elements in it. My eye is having a hard time figuring out what the main subject of the image is. It is the bright diagonal area is it the waterfall. Just my opinion. The light is a bit harsh.

While I like the competing diagonals, the deep shadows are not really working for me. The water also has some hotspots, that could be brought down. I do like the sharp ridge and its detail.

Thank you all!
In case anyone is curious, in my mind this photo is very much about the shadow intersecting the scene. To me it looks like the world has a big gash torn out of it and the water on the side is falling into nothingness.
I can only imagine that some of my photos must be somewhat baffling to have to comment on so I appreciate people taking the time.

I like this one, Ana. The smaller resolution thumbnail looks super to me, more graphic. As the resolution increases, because of the harshness of the light, it loses some of it's impact. Having said that, it is very well conceived and executed.

Thanks Gary, that's very helpful. I might play with toning down the clarity a little bit.

Ana,
Stark and graphic. Not your typical capture that includes cascading water, but honestly this is a unique and effective image.
Obviously a great use and presentation of shadows. Kudos for recognizing and crafting this one.
