No Eyes?

While I have been thoroughly indoctrinated into the Church of the Holy Catch Light, there are some times when a closed eye can be just as expressive, if not more so.  For me, this was one of those times.

7Dii, Sigma 150-600 C @ 388 mm, hand held lying on boardwalk, f/7.1, 1/160, iso 800, aperture priority, pattern metering +2/3 EV.  Processed in LR & PS CC.  Slight darkening of bg and Topaz Detail on the bird.  Full frame.  Taken at 8:59 am on March 25, 2017 at the Leonabelle Turnbull Birding Center in Port Aransas, Texas.

Your critiques are always appreciated.

Thanks,

You caught an amusing pose in this image.  I do think just a tad more detail in the feathers would be nice.  TFS.
