Having kept us awake from 4.00 am with continual roaring we caught up with this magnificent male around 15 km down the road.
The journey in an open vehicle could be best described as "freezing",
Bhubezi is now the leader of "Ceil's Pride" and will provide an excellent replacement to both Cecil and  Jericho.

No wonder, he looks and walks like a leader.

The genes go forward. He looks like a fitting new king. The eyes stand out well in this image.

Looks like he owns the world, or at least his corner of it Ken. Nice light and color here. Great pose and as Jerry pointed out his eyes really draw your attention.

Fine specimen.  Fine capture.  I very much like the quality of light in his eye and the sideways (but not at the photographer) glance.
