An early morning trip on the Wakulla River reveals the true beauty and lushness of the REAL Florida; the part which is undisturbed by over-development. Please click on the image to see it larger for better detail.

You've got amazing knees, Bill...enlightened  Yes, this shows off the lush greens along Florida's waterways very well.  The variety of greens and the fine reflections in the dark water look great.

This has a great mix of lush greenery along with some nice reflections, Bill. This has a wonderful serene and relaxing feel to it. Beautifully done.

This is a real nice view of the lush greenery. I might consider cropping down from the top to just below the leaves hanging down top right. To my eye, it tightens up the comp.

Bill,

This reminds me of one of the few times I've been to Florida and on my last trip I visited Hillsborough River St. Park.  I'm guessing the areas, vegetation, etc. are quite similar.

The large view definitely makes a difference; showing off the very nicely processed greens/yellows and all the fine detail.  I like the composition as is - nice rule of thirds comp.  I'm also wondering about an alternative that incorporates Harley's thought of cropping out the patch of leaves in the URC.  How about a crop from the right instead?  I'm thinking a crop of about 1/2 of the green vegetation on the right might bring some symmetry in to play.  Yes, it would center the knees a bit more, but I think the greens on either side, the water/reflection below would make for some nice framing.  Also I think the depth of the forest above the knees gets enhanced.

Just a thought, but lovely as presented.

Bill, I love the rich greens and the nice detail. The color and processing look great. my suggestion for a crop would be a combination of both Harley's and Lon's ideas. I do agree about tightening up the composition a bit.

I hope Irma does not affect you! Stay safe!

Beautiful Bill.  I also agree with Lon and Harley's suggestions, particularly the centering of the knees.  The terrain we photograph couldn't be more different.    I love the lushness.

My thoughts are with you, with Irma bearing down. I hope things go better than predicted.
