This ewe was sitting on the ledge over the road watching the six rams in the bottom of the creek chase a couple of ewes incessantly around, butting heads every now and then to see who was up for the contest. I think she was hoping they would just forget about her up on her perch. Zion National Park, Upper East side... Canon 5Diii, f8, 1/2500 sec, iso 400, 100-400 ISl ii, with 1.4 TC, at 560 mm, from 65 feet away, most of full frame. Thanks for your thoughts and suggestions for improvment.

I like the detail you caught in the ewe's face.  Also the angle of view.  I do think if you could brighten or lighten her left eye it would help as to me as it is now that area sort of blends in with the BG.  TFS.

I think, it's a great concept...live becomes still life !
Ideally, I would have preferred OOF BG, but in this situation, you can darken the BG substantially.

I suppose the ideal would have been to have this without the busy lines of background, but I find this to be pleasing as posted, offering a sense of place as well as suggestion possible "story line" or caption.
