The water drops were huge from the thunder showers this weekend in the San Bernardino Mountains here in Southern California. This one dropped on the flat edge of the deck railing and provided a nice reflection of the trees, thunder clouds, bright sky and lodge. I wasn't sure if this was the right place for this shot. If it fits better in another gallery please move it or let me know and I can move it. Canon 5Diii, f8, 1/640 sec, iso 400, -0.7 EV, 100-400 ISL ii, with 1.4 TC, at 560 mm, lookin' for birds... Thanks for your thoughts.

This was well seen and is nice.  It's always good to look for the smaller things that make up the side show between the birds.

This is a great, macro drop image, Ed.  The clarity in the reflected view from the drop is great.  I think I see the Photog. just to the right of the house...   I am a bit surprised about the noise in the dark background in the upper right, at iso 400 on this camera, a bit of noise reduction in raw processing should make that go away.  This is definitely a macro shot.

Great macro, Ed!  I am in agreement with Mark, the noise in the darker areas, both top and bottom, but other than that, an excellent shot.  Great eye for seeing this and capturing it.
