Abstracture

My usual macro locations have been flooded with heav rains. Rivers have come back to life after many many yars may be.  It was unusual for me to see scenes like this. As a macro photographer I tend get close by default.

This is certainly a departure from your usual shots. I like it. The close up does give a very abstract capture but still shows the power of the flow. I think your timing is good. The little white splash streaks in the urc are a little distracting, though I don't know if you can do anything about them.

I really like the interesting colors and the warm/cool contrast. The texture and tones in the water at the bottom are very nicely realized. You might consider cloning those bits in the upper right cornier. I find them a bit distracting. I like the the layers moving from lighter to darker.

This is interesting in that there are no rocks or anything in support of the water. Yet the composition really holds up well because it's so strong. Powerful diagonal lines over the horizontal froth. I also like the departure from the typical blue water. Mostly warm with streaks of cool here and there. Nice job.

Well done Balan.  Understand the water colors due to flooding and muddy water. I think youve done a great job condensing this to a very simple, yet powerful water image.

Have to agree with others about the sharp splashes in the upper right.  Somehow they just don't seem to fit; looks like what we see when we capture fireworks.  Not a huge image killer, but certainly a distraction.  Kinda like the situation where if there were more of the bright streaks they might add to the image - but as is, just a couple lines that don't add to the image.

What I really like here are the smooth lines of the flow of the flooded waters in to the more turbulent white water below.  Cool stuff.

Real nice water flow image. As commented by others, I would clone out the streaks top right. I find them pulling my attention to that spot and holding it there. Otherwise, very enjoyable image.

This is a rich abstract Balan; interesting to see that you embraced the muddy water. It's also interesting that we all noted the streaks; it's surprising how the gets yanked by the little things. I too might clone them out, although if there were a lot more of them I think that would look pretty cool.

A very lovely intimate take on this scene. I am enjoying the colors and the strong sense of movement.
