Left Behind

Late afternoon this summer I took this shot at Crisfield, MD.  It appears to be what is left of an old boardwalk in the marsh area, probably so the fisherman could tend to crab pots, but I am not certain.  I just liked how the lighting was hitting it, and the leading lines.  Taken with Canon 5D Mark III, Canon 100-400 mm lens at 170 mm.   Settings f16, 1/160, ISO 1000, handheld.  Full frame.  Comments and critiques welcome.

The warmth of the lighting is what makes this a fine view, Shirley.  The larger view shows the fine details in the water and the old posts.  This tells a good story.

Very pretty light in the grass and the pilings Shirley. I can definitely see the appeal. Something nostalgic and inviting at the same time about this.
