Immature White Ibises looking for worms, my back yard, 9/13/17.

9/13/2017, 5:51:43 PM
Canon EOS 7D Mark II EF100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM +1.4x III @379mm
f/20, 1/100, -0.67, ISO 800
Aperture Priority, Evaluative Metering
Imported into LR, processed in CC PS 2017, cropped a little off the top.

I was hoping f/20 would work, and I think it did.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you!

Barbara,
This seems to me to lack some sharpness, a faster shutter speed would have been a better bet!

Thanks, Ken. I knew there was a reason I hadn't already posted it, but I couldn't remember why.

Indeed a little soft, but therefore the atmosphere and the sort of intimate setting are compensation. I love the real natural feel of the image, as if one is actually there... Cheers, Hans

While this is a little soft and tilted a little counterclockwise, I would be thrilled to have these in my backyard.   Nice depiction of their behavior.  Have you tried sharpening these images?  Yes sorry about the flood.

I like the composition and the positions of the two ibises, Barbara.  It may be my monitor, but this looks a little dull, like it could use some more brightness and contrast to give it some punch.

I do like the repost with the increased contrast better Barbara, to my eye it still needs a bit more clockwise rotation. Nice job getting them both sharp. devil
