Every now and then I go back to very old images to see whether they can be improved.
This ome was taken in 2005 with a EOS 1D Mk II, when i used to mess with "strange" settings.
Taken in Kwando concession, Botswana
100-400 mm F 4
F11
ISO 200
1/200

Ken: I really like the pose and perch of this youngster. The light is very nice and one can see the fine details in the coat. Richard

Ken, I would brighten the face and the back of the cheetah, add some more brightness to the eyes, and also blur the bg a bit more. At present, the 'busy' leaves and branches behind the cheetah's head are a bit distracting.

Wonderful expression and pose on the branch Ken. Nice work getting detail in the shade without blowing out the sunny area behind.

It is easy to like the sweet warm light and great pose.  I agree the busy background is unfortunate.

This was difficult to process, and the background is unfortunate.

I agree about brightening the cheetah a bit. Really nice image regardless.
