Yesterday I was lucky to go on a hike very close to ancient glaciers in the Alps. I was fascinated by the huge amount of debrisis created by the movement of the glacier. The moraine in the image is basically a hill over 200 meters high which hundreds years ago delimited the glacier (the base is in the upper left corner). The metamorphic rocks were of very different colors and tones. Any suggestions and comments are very much appreciated to improve the image and possibly to print it

Your title really speaks to the truth of this scene and image. What strikes me about the size and scale here is simply the presence of the tip of the glacier in the upper left. Yes, there is some distance so it's going to appear smaller, and the moraine much larger, but still one can imagine the glacier at it's peak size pushing up the mountain of debris. Very cool, a terrific nature story.
The subtle and various colors throughout give this immense scene some beauty as well. Nicely seen and composed.

A ton of detail to look at, the crease in the moraine leads one right in...
