One of several shots I took a year or so ago of this autumn beech in a mixed woodland. Canon 400D, 18-55 @ 44, 1 sec @ f22, ISO 200

Beautifully composed, Ian. A lovely scene with the main beech as focal and I love the position you chose for the stwisy background tree. An excellent image that invites one in for an autumn walk.

Lovely fall colors, Ian. Your emphasis on the main tree and it's branches holds this together very well. Love the glow in the leaves in the upper right.

Beautiful image. I see nothing busy about it. The tree forms a great framework for all of the color and holds the image together.

Beautiful tree in colorful settings, Ian. I love the greenish glow of the branches and soft light. Very nicely composed and presented.
