Sea Lion Macro

I was shooting photos of the Sea Lions at the mouth of the hatchery stream and this one came in so close I was able to shoot a macro ;-)   When they get that close you notice things that you otherwise don't pay attention to, such as the fact that they have only one eyebrow hair per eye (and this one had a tiny drop of water on the end of it).

Sony a6500, SE100400GM @ 312mm, ISO-500, f/5.6, 1/1250, hand held.

Hi Gary,

I like this portrait.  Water droplets are a nice bonus.  Well done.....................Jim

That one eyebrow hair and it's water drop is very cute, Gary.  The details and tight head view are great.  Quite the wildlife experience.

Excellent, close up portrait, Gary.  Detail looks as good as it can get.  Hopefully you managed other frames, some with more space, yet this is totally fine as posted.

Very nice portrait. Up close and personal, but what really makes this standout is it's a shot of a sea lion that is free of injuries and/or scars.

Really nice portrait. You see details in this image that you don't normally see. Well done.
