Up a Tree

This little guy scurried up this tree to avoid another bear that was acting aggressive. He is looking at his mom standing in the stream below for the green light to come down, which he did a few minutes after this image was taken. It is amazing how mother and cub communicate with each other through body language and vocalizations. Amazing to witness. Processed with Lightroom, Photoshop and Lightzone. Comments and critiques welcome.

That is a beautiful little cub and you composed nicely.  The intervening branches are unfortunate.

Nice story behind the image. Bears are truly magnificent and the more time I spend with them the more I am impressed with them. Thanks for sharing this.devil

This really shines in the larger view, where the mossy tree's details standout well and the bear's head shows fine details.  You positioned yourself well to get a clear look at it's face through all those branches.

What a sweet moment captured really well Jerry. Your focus is spot on. Nice framing with tree and branches. Good BG too.
