I have believed for a long time that beauty is a cultural phenomena. To some of us this image may appear to be oversaturated beyond belief but perhaps not so in other cultures. There clearly is no desire to be realistic but are these vivid colors beautiul? Going with the flow of the direction of this image I think a crop to remove the sky, blue mountains, and peaks could provide a good composition of golds and indigo blues. BTW, unless those buildings are cropped out this belongs in Man and Nature.

I am not familiar enough with landscape photography to provide a complex critique of the composition.  Examine the histogram for each color channel and you will discover that cyan is too saturated especially for the sky.  Overall, the saturation is also very intense and the image has a very artificial sense to it.  With this much color, it is a much more artistic presentation than a traditional landscape for this scene. Follow Igor's advice on the comp and find a balance in color presentation that fits the scene better.  It seems that you were allowing your camera to use auto settings and for landscapes, go with manual settings and save file in RAW  format. Otherwise, I think this is a pretty cool scene that you found and thank you for presenting this image.....................Jim

Appears more as a piece of modern art than the traditional photograph, but the colors do go nicely together.  Do wish there was either more sky, or no sky.  Feels too tight on top.  Love those tones in the distant hills.
