Capitol Reef Wall Art

For the weekly challenge I immediately thought of the countless scenes in Capitol Gorge, most notable being the various little sculptures. But in this case I elected to show a small area with variations in color and subtle structural transitions of the cross bedding found along the canyon walls. About 80% of full frame cropped from bottom.

This is great, Bill.  The color transitions, the diagonal streaks in the lower part and the horizontal erosion surface make for a fine abstract.  I do think that some extra contrast might be good, especially in the lower 2/3rds.

Bill this appears to be sheared off across the face. The different colors and angles are intriguing to look at. Great one for the challenge this week.
