Lovely scene, Harley.  I love the peacefulness it seems to portray.  The reflections are a nice plus.

Beautiful serene scene here Harley. I love the splash of gold on the right and the fortress of a mountain behind the scene. It feels like it may be slightly slanted to the left, but that may just be old trees?

Looks like a wonderful place to just sit and relax, Harley. I particularly like the bit of fall color on the right along with the reflection in the water. I also like the layering in this scene. Nicely done.

Beautiful layering, depth and clarity. Processing looks great but I could see some light burning of the granite wall to keep the eye centered in the frame. Good stuff.

Harley,

Yeah, just another ho-humm landscape from the Eastern Sierra.  enlightened  Seriously, this is a very quiet and peaceful scene.  All the elements from the grasses and pond to the granite and evergreens to the splashes of autumn color.  A simple yet beautiful scene that would look great in print.

The large view is beautiful of course.  Maybe it's just me and it's so difficult given these web displays, but this appears slightly over sharpened?  It's not cruchy or anything, but the finer details.  Not sure if you use Tony's sharpening tool, but I find I often have to back off the fine sharpening layer a bit.  Hard to explain, and also hardly worth mentioning...

This is definitely a peaceful scene.  I like the composition with the island in the middle of the pond as well as the contrasting water.  The scattering of fall color throughout adds a lot of interest and the backdrop of the mountain adds to the sense of scale.  Nicely done!

I like the colors creeping up (or dripping down) the granite and the Pines growing in the lower granite outcrop.

Lovely, muted tonality, Harley, and beautifully composed with the rocks acting as if a cloudscape over the pond.

Harley, I like the emphasis on that island with it's great supporting cast of the trees and their reflections on the right and the colors climbing the mountain in the back.

That is a peaceful looking pond, Harley. I too can see spending some quiet time here and just enjoying the natural beauty of this area. A very beautiful scene!

And another nice eastern Sierra scene.  The granite outcrops create a nice background and I like the form in the stream and meadow.  I was thinking along the same lines as Lon relative to the sharpening, but that's not a big deal.  Nicely done.
