A Dark-eyed Junco in this case.  This was a projection from a peanut-butter feeding post and Junco's are avid consumers of it, though I managed to catch this one with a clean beak.

7Dii, Sigma 150-600 C @ 451 mm, Jobu Gimbal on blind window, f/9, 1/400, iso 1600, aperture priority, pattern metering, -1/3 EV.  Processed in LR & PS CC.  This is a 6x7 vertical crop from the horizontal original and I cloned over part of the oof feeder pole that was on the left side.  Taken at 8:54 am on November 6th.

Your comments and critiques are always appreciated.

Thanks,

I like the pose.  The detail looks very good, particularly given the shutter speed and ISO.  DId you have to do much NR using this ISO?  The junco shows well against the background.

HI Dennis
You did a really good job with the black detail and the showing of the Junco eye.

A good crisp image.  I like the  pose the junco is in as well as the color and details.  I think I will try the peanut butter feeding post.
TFS.
