Glacier Bay NP, Alaska
As we sailed up Glacier Bay the clouds were playing a never ending melody with the mountains. All comments welcome. >=))>

Beautiful comp and the mystery of the clouds is really nice.  From a processing point, a couple of ideas to highlight the dappled soft light.  Maybe increase sat. of water a little.  The sunlit areas of the mountain maybe brighten/increase contrast. add vibrance or sat to make them stand out a little more.  The light there looks a little flat to me.  Maybe just a simple midtone contrast boost would work.

Those mountains really look majestic in this one, and the wisps of clouds help it along. You left just the right amount of water, letting the viewer know that's where you were but not the real subject. The little trees silhouetted in the cloud at the bottom right gives it a sense of scale.

A dramatic shot seeing these fairly stark mountains rising out of the water.  The clouds and fog add a lot to the scene.

Beautiful cloudy grand landscape. Real nice mood to it, too. Very calm. No suggestions here.

Bill,

I'm guessing you weren't too disappointed with the conditions of clouds, fog, mist dancing with the majestic mountains? cool Conditions like this almost always provide wonderful opportunities and you did a great job isolating this grand scene.  I think the colors and processing look very natural - although, I'm a bit with Harry and I'm usually looking to bump things up - of course that's totally a personal choice and I think the processing as presented looks spot on.

I like the inclusion of the water as well - and think you just got by and included enough.  Any less and I might think the water was an oversight.

No nits or suggestions.

Beautiful mist and clouds - isn't Glacier Bay magnificent?  Looks as if you had some great non-rainy weather.
I might like to see a bit more water, but lovely image as is.

The mix of clouds, mountains  and light look great, Bill.  The thin strip of turquoise water at the bottom does a great job of setting off the height of the mountains.
