These very, very old and huge bougainvillea in the old parts of Kauai offer magnificent colour from bushes all growing together and intertwining. It's hard to find a good perspective, though.

Sandy, these are quite lovely. The OOF color blobs are a nice balancing act.cool

Sandy: Wonderful colors in the bloom and BG. I also like your POF/DOF choices. I wonder about rotating the camera a bit to the right to include a bit more of the flower and a bit less BG? Still pretty darn good as is. >=))>

Sandy,
Perfect progression of the DOF layers and wonderful colors.
Try as I might, I have yet to get a satisfactory photo of bougainvillea.
This is Very well done.

A feast of colors Sandy. I like the contrasts of warm and sharp colors in the front against the cold and soft colors in the back. Only the saturation is the same, have you tried to lower the saturation in the BG for increasing the distance even more?

Sandy, the color are incredible and the single white center brings you right it. The sharpness of the flower and DOF is very nice adding to the image.  I like how the flower is centered to the right of the frame allowing the purple and green to make it pop. Hawaii is a very special place to find unique and wonderful flowers to photograph thank you for sharing.
