Pringles!

This image was captured during  my recent trip with Nate Chappell to Thailand and Taiwan. We were coming down from the Visitors Center in Yushan National Park  in Taiwan after lunch and spotted this Taiwanese Macaque on the side of the road sitting on the guardrail. The driver stopped the van about ten yards or so from the monkey, and armed with my 500mm lens and no time to change out rigs, I exited from the left rear of the vehicle to take a shot. As I rounded the back of the vehicle, rig poised, I notice the monkey wasn't where I last saw it. I then looked thru the rear window into the van and saw that the monkey had entered into the vehicle and was being chased out of the backseat by the driver. As the macaque escaped the van he absconded with a can of Pringles and jumped back onto the guardrail, where he promptly began to consume the contents of the can.

This is a record shot of the perpetrator.
