Sac Valley Blacktails

I enjoyed watching this blacktail family - a doe and her yearlings, a male and a female - taken late last April.  They were pretty tame so I had to zoom to the minum of 150mm to get them all in.  I liked the light and that they were partially hidden behind the vegetation.  D500, 150-600 @ 150, 1/400, F11, ISO 1600, HH.  Comments and suggestions always appreciated.

I do like this image.  It is a cute photo of the 3 deer hiding behind the bush.  I also think this needs to be viewed large.  TFS.

That's a cute lineup Jim, I would probably just take a small sliver off the top to make it uniform green there,  well captured!  devil

It is pretty tricky working with bright sunlight and dark shadow together.  In this case your exposure of the deer looks spot on.  On thing that might make a slightly stronger presentation would be to crop a portion of the dark foreground to make its relative size similar to the other horizontal bands of dark and light, which would emphasize that horizontal element as a compositional element.
