Christmas Lights

A merry Christmas every one out there. May not be a clean image, but guess this has enough lights. Had a flower in the front and a strand of web was tied to it. A change from my previous images, was made with first light, and earlier images were made when the sun was a tad bit high.

I too see color changes from web to web and with the angle of the light, Balan.  There's a fine overall glow to this.  If you use, luminosity masks, you can burn through a combination mask to reduce the brighter background in the low frame with minimal loss in the colors from the strands.  If you don't know what I'm talking about, send me an email and I'll explain in detail.  Happy Holidays to you!

Merry Christmas Balan.  I like the prismatic effects of the light striking the webs.  You can try luminosity masks and you can obtain some plugins for Photoshop from Tony Kuyper's website.  Well worth looking into for certain images................Jim

This is very nice, Balan. It's fascinating to see such a spectrum of colors in ordinary strands of the web. Very well composed.

Christmas lights is a really good title for this image. The barcode colors in the strands of web is amazing. Can't ever remember seeing anything like it before. The bright area would be nice to tame as there is additional color in there.

Balan, beautiful gold tone and amazing colors in the strands of the web. I find this kind of web image tough to shoot. You did a fine job. Merry Christmas to you as well.

Your spider webs are always so cool, Balan.  I'm not sure how you get the cool diffraction patterns, but I like them.  This one fits the holiday spirit nicely.
