Shades of Early Winter
by Preston Birdwell
Sure has been quiet around here, so I thought I would post another shot from Columbia.
I have been looking at interesting tree shadows lately, especially since all the leaves have fallen. I liked the shadows on the brick wall and iron door.

Thank you for your comments on my recent images. I will appreciate your comments on this one, too.

I really like and appreciate this one. I say that because for years and years I've been attracted, almost infatuated with bare tree shadows on buildings; I see them all the time in my own town. Problem is I don't feel comfortable walking around town and neighborhoods taking pictures of houses, condos and buildings.... In today's times, that might be frowned upon and someone would probably call the police!
Anyway, you're fortunate to have a town there in Columbia where the whole town is a State Park and photography is common place - so glad you found and were able to capture this opportunity.
