Our trip to Kalispell, Montana three years ago this month was especially memorable because of the heavy snowfall that greeted us as we flew in from Houston, Tx.   One afternoon, we visited a local park and came across these red berry-covered trees that stood out against the deep snow that had transformed the park into a wonderland

This is a very beautiful scene. I really like how the white snow covers the red.

Paula, you've got a fine mix of snow, trunks and colored branches/berries here.  This makes for a wintry scene with some warmth due to the warm colors.

Hi Paula,
This is superb. I love the colors and the comp. The snow on the berries is just fabulous, and you framed these bushes just right. Excellent work.

Paula, this is a very lovely scene. The color palette is great, and I think the snow does a great job of de-cluttering the foreground. I could see a crop off the right to center the trees, the composition feels a little left-heavy to me.

This is enchanting Paula. I can see how people came up with the idea to hang ornaments on their trees at this time of year. You captured lovely browns in the trees and the brush, not to mention the bright little clusters of berries each topped off with a nice layer of "frosting."
