I didn't do much Flora shooting on our trip to Alaska but I did come upon this orange agapanthus at the embarkation center in Juneua while we were waiting to board our boat. I've not seen a color like this on any local varieties so instead of just sitting around I grabbed a few shots. All comments welcome. >=))>

Interesting color. Alaska has a large variety of indigenous flora not seen elsewhere. I like this not only for the color, but also for the non-geometric shape of the flower cluster. Well seen!

I'm sure this was much more fun that just sitting around waiting.  Great color and I like the comp on this nice grouping.  The background works really wel too.  Nice capture!

Excellent, Bill. Great bg for the orange flowers. Nicely composed with very appealing contrasting colors and perfect dof managment for my tastes.

A pleasing composition and the orange flowers against the green background works well.

An excellent family portrait Bill. I love the selective focus and the warm colors.

Bill

Great contrasting colors here. The depth of field chosen works well for these flowers. Nice use of “down” time!
