An image from my trip to Utah last spring near the old Paria movie set off Hwy 89. Mixture of sun and rain. D600, nikkor 24-70 f2.8 at 35 and f13, 1/100, iso 400, gnds and a CP, I believe. Slight crop off right. Suggestions and other comments welcome.

A great look at a classic Utah scene. Nice color, dappled light and cloud cover. Makes me yearn for a Utah road trip!! Nicely done.

Beautifully done from front to back, Scott. Everything works from the FG landscape with it's greenery to the colorful formations in the BG; all topped off with that cloud filled sky. Gorgeous image.

Excellent workmanship on this image. Love the shadows crawling across the landscape. That's something I like in grand landscapes such as this. The clouds look very natural. A fine image. I can't think of any way to improve this. Thanks for sharing.

Scott
An impressive landscape that belongs large on a wall.  You handled the different light values very well.

Scott, this shot is simply perfect as presented. You did an outstanding job on the processing, it's a very natural looking level of contrast in this scene. I really like how you included the wispy rain clouds at the top edge of the frame, it tells a nice story about monsoon season in the Southwest.

Scott, the geology is shown off wonderfully here, especially with the sunlight on the ridges.  The sky is great also.

Scott,

Terrific landscape image.  The passing rain cloud is a nice added bonus to the scene.  I think all the elements are balanced beautifully - excellent comp.  The dappled light is also bringing this landscape up a notch or two.

Well done, no nits or suggestions.

Scott, this is excellent. Southern Utah has been my favorite destination for the last 20 plus years, and captured nicely.

Scott, another wonderful scene from this area of Utah. I really like the pronounced view of the plateau.
I too have been to this site but many years ago now. At first I thought it was from CRNP. Has the look of the Eph Hanks Tower there. But then there are many plateaus in the southwestern states that look similar. The bit of rainy weather adds nicely to the arid view also. Very nice work as usual........laugh

Beautifully composed with some terrific atmospheric conditions. Overall processing looks good and very natural. Minor nit but I would burn down that one bright highlight left side center.
