This was taken at the Sacramento NWR just before Christmas.  Canon 60D, iso 500, f5.6, 1/800 sec, 100-400 ISLii, at 400 mm, slight crop off of bottom.  Thanks for your comments and critiques.

I really like the bottom center area that has a whole other look. The close up geese and the far away geese in the sunset make for a very interesting composition. Well done.

An interesting flock image, Ed.  I like the groupings of the geese with the distant birds peeking through the hole.

An interesting image, a bit different I think from many snow geese images.  I find the group of OOF geese at the bottom center to be distracting, but also feel if they were not there you would need to crop much more off of the bottom.  Still an enjoyable image.  Thanks for sharing.

Love the composition.  Great color and like the focus to unfocused aspect.  Adds perspective.  Keep up the good work!

I like the composition and the light a lot. Interesting processing. It looks more like a painting then a photograph.

Really pleasing distribution of these Snow Geese in flight.  Good job on the color.  The sky is really nice.
